Created by Robert Kanigher and Sheldon Moldoff, the character made her first appearance in Batman #181 (June 1966). Poison Ivy was always one of my fave villains. Not only was she a stone cold betty who took no shit from her male counterparts but she was also an evil genius which made her one of Batman's most enduring enemies.
22Mo'o - $100
This Hawaiian mythological creature know as the Mo’o is generally pictured as a very large lizard. The creature is notoriously difficult described because of its ability to shape-shift. Some people claim the Mo’o is the size of a little gecko, or a fierce 30ft dragon, while still others claim it appears as beautiful and seductive woman.
20Skinwalker-Owl - $100
A Navajo medicine man must preform an evil ritual act in order to become a Skinwalker. They must kill someone dear to them. In killing a loved one, a Skinwalker becomes more beast than human. Once this act is completed, the Skinwalker can shape shift into any animal they chose. The most common of animals is the coyote, owl, fox, wolf and crow.
14Valkyrie - $100
Renowned nymphs of Norse Mythology. In battle they selected the bravest, most righteous Viking soldiers destined for death and took them to the Hall of Valhalla to await Ragnarok, the great battle that would in the world. The meaning of their name, “choosers of the slain,” also refers to Valkyries using malicious magics to ensure they could take the warriors of their choosing.
13Moss Maiden - $100
In appearance, the Moss Maidens are typically short in stature and sometimes appear elderly; but this does not imply frailty, rather an image of aged wisdom. Moss covers their face, their hair is like grey lichen hanging from their heads, and their limbs are like knotted Maple bark. These Wood Women also weave moss to dress the roots of the Maple trees. These creatures are considered to be the trees' guardian spirits.
12Batibat - $100
A Fae spirit that belongs to one tree and one tree belongs to them. A batibat is generally peaceful until someone cuts down a batibat's tree. Every sliver is a part of them and they won't let any of it go, to the point where they'll kill to get it back. The tree is its home. The batibat is compelled to kill to reclaim her home as a primal instinct.
11Undine - $100
German water nymph dwelling in forest ponds and waterfalls. According to legend, the Undine lack a soul but are able to obtain one by marrying a mortal man and bearing him a child. A novella of the same title tells the story of a water nymph who married a knight but in doing so also gained knowledge of the pain and suffering of the human condition.
10Leshovikha - $100
These shapeshifting spirits are protectors of the forest and its creatures. Leshii are able to assume any likeness and can change in size and height. They are often depicted as having horns, with bluish skin, backwards feet. Mischievous tricksters, they are accomplished mimics, imitating familiar voices and animal sounds to lure visitors into the forest. As is often the case in tales of those who have visited the Faerie realm, many never returned.
9BearWalker - $100
In Ojibway spiritual tradition, a bearwalker spirit is a devil called from the wilderness by an evil person or witch. It enters the individual’s soul and often impersonates the sacred bear and claims invulnerability. The person usually practices black magic or “bad” medicine. Some believe bearwalkers possess malevolent power and use it to cause misfortune, sickness and untimely death. Ojibway spiritual tradition says bearwalkers can become various animals and even appear as a ball of fire.
8Kitsune - SOLD
Japanese Fox 🦊Spirit. Believed to possess longevity, great intelligence, and magical powers. According to Yōkai folklore, all foxes have the ability to shapeshift into human form. While some tales speak of kitsune employing this ability to trick others—as foxes in folklore often do—other stories portray them as faithful guardians, friends, lovers, and wives.
7Pheonix - SOLD
The Phoenix Force is a well known character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. This galactic entity is most famous for its central role in The Dark Phoenix Saga storyline, and is frequently linked to Jean Grey. The Phoenix first appeared in Uncanny X-Men #101 (October 1976)
6Kanaima - $100
Kanaima is an evil spirit or dark shaman from South American mythology that has been said to possess people, causing them to turn into deadly animals and go into a murderous rage. Stories tell of people seeking revenge for a slain relative, inviting the Kanaima spirit into themselves; often conducting certain magic rituals to complete their assassinations.

In Greek mythology Harpies were originally believed to be personifications of the destructive nature of wind. In this form they were agents of punishment who abducted evildoers and tortured them on their way to Tartarus. They were vicious, cruel and violent.

Pele is the Goddess of Fire & Volcanoes. She is revered as the creator of the Hawaiian Islands. In addition, Pele is also honored as the "Goddess of the Hula".

In Norse legend, Berserkers were said to be fierce warriors who wore animal pelts into battle instead of armor. Some warriors were even said to have the magical ability to transform into a wolf, bear, or (in this case) a boar.
2Selkie - $100
These legendary creatures of Scottish folklore are generally imagined as seals that can transform themselves into human beings. Most Selkies stories are romantic tragedies. A lonely fisherman comes across a group of selkies who have shed their skin to sun themselves. He steals the coat of one of them, which forces her to live on land and become his wife. Though the couple have children, the Selkie is always on the lookout for her skin. When she finds it she escapes to the sea with her children

The use of bold lines and vibrant color can turn what is essentially a blank canvas into an urban garden free for all to enjoy. (桜) – Sakura means “cherry blossom” Derived from saku 咲, which means to bloom, smile, or laugh. The 口 in 咲 indicates an open mouth. Watercolor 7"x10" Inspiration: An illustrated representation of my own vibrant culture. Arawak/Taíno natives were polytheists. Their Gods were called Zemi and controlled various functions of the universe, very much like Greek Gods did. The Sun God or "Lord of the Dawn" is one of the most commonly used to represent Taino culture today.

Some of the more commonly used symbols of the Art Nouveau movement, Dragonflies and Viney Lotus Flowers, made the strongest impact on me due to their representation of beauty and elegance being the result of growth through trials and pain.

Acrylic Paint 9"x12" Inspiration: Origin of the Cornucopia, (Horn of Plenty) In his early days, the infantile god, Zeus, had to be hidden in a cave on island of Crete from his devouring father, Kronos. The baby was cared for and protected by the divine goat Amalthea ("Nourishing Goddess"), who fed him with her milk. One day while playing with his nursemaid, the future king of the gods accidentally broke off one of her horns which then had the divine power to provide unending nourishment.

Prismacolor Maker, Pensil, & Ink Watercolor (Background) 5”x7” Inspiration: I've always loved Greek mythology and its connection to modern times. As this story goes, after being seduced by Poseidon and cursed by Athena, Medusa fled to Africa. While wandering restlessly from place to place, young snakes dropped from her hair. According to the ancient Greeks, this is how Africa became a hotbed of venomous reptiles.

Prismacolor Pencil 8"x8" Inspiration: This sweet girl is very much inspired by my love for graffiti. Growing up in an urban city like Chicago means that I've been exposed to some of the best graffiti in the country. I love the combination of hard, bold lines and the vibrant colors. Anyone who can work free hand, at such a large scale, in such defiant locations and heights has my respect. It takes a lot more courage and skills than most people are willing to give credit for.

Watercolor 9"x12" Inspiration: This piece was one of my first attempts at Watercolors. I wanted to achieve an organic mixing of colors with a dripping effect. Although it did not turn out exactly as I'd hoped, I still love this piece. It reminds me that something can be imperfect or "wrong" and still be beautiful.

Watercolor 9"x12" Inspiration: My first watercolor portrait was one I did of my mother. I've always loved this picture of her. I don't usually strive for realism, but this turned out better than I expected- Especially considering it was a first attempt. It and she reminds me that if I believe in myself I can do great things.
